This week, our thoughts and prayers remain with the family, friends and community of East St. Louis as they honor the five children who sadly lost their lives in a house fire.
Our team at CasketWraps was honored to work with Serenity Memorial in Belleville, IL, in providing a memorial that allowed the family to focus on the life and joy of the children. Together, we created each childs’ personalized casket, specifically tailored to their interests and adorning their beautiful smiles and favorite colors.
While certainly one of our more emotional and difficult projects, our team wanted to ensure that the caskets helped tell each child’s story.
“These were wonderful children,” Said Walter Taylor, Co-Owner of Serenity Memorial Chapel. “Each casket reflects their personal desires, the toys they played with and the colors they liked. So if you look at the caskets, you see a glimpse of their lives.”
From all of us at CasketWraps, we hope that these personalized caskets were able to provide a little bit of comfort to the family and friends of these children. In their memory, we honor Deontae, Heaven, Neveah, Jabari and Loy’el.
